ABOUT

Established in 2023 by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and coordinated by the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE), the Hub of Talents to Support Net Zero GHG Emissions is dedicated to guiding Thailand towards carbon neutrality by 2050 and achieving net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2065. This initiative is designed to drive the transition of energy and economic systems to low carbon solutions, ultimately meeting and sustaining the nation’s carbon neutrality and net zero GHG emissions goals.

Our Objectives
  1. Expert Collaboration: Compile a comprehensive list of local and international experts in the field of carbon neutrality and GHG emissions reduction, cultivating partnerships among universities, government and non-government organizations, and international entities to enhance the feasibility and speed of Thailand’s transition to net zero GHG emissions.
  2. Knowledge and Skill Development: Develop partnerships to address key issues, facilitate knowledge transfer, and build essential skills in sectors such as electricity system transformation, energy efficiency, sustainable bioenergy, circular economy, agriculture and livestock, and policy and transition management.
  3. Collaborative Projects: Initiate collaborative projects among stakeholders to support the development of knowledge and technology, workforce training, technology adoption, and commercialization efforts aimed at advancing net zero emissions.
  4. Centralized Expertise: Serve as a central hub for gathering and connecting individuals with expertise in greenhouse gas emission reduction, fostering a community dedicated to achieving and sustaining net zero GHG emissions.
