On 27 March 2024, the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE) hosted a special lecture on “Process Systems Engineering for Life Cycle Assessment, Decision- Making, Design, and Optimization for Sustainability and Carbon-Neutrality Transition”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Jingzheng Ren from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Following the lecture, Dr. Jingzheng Ren had a meeting with Professor Shabbir H. Gheewala, Head of the Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment Laboratory (LCSAL) and his team discussing future collaboration in research and academia. Notable attendees included Dr. Pariyapat Nilsalab and Dr. Ukrit Jaroenkietkajorn, Researchers from LCSAL. The lecture garnered participation from JGSEE students as well as exchange students from the University of North Carolina (UNC).
